ABOUT US DJO DESIGNS KIDZ BIZZZ face painting Brisbane, came to fruition as a business in July 2006 as a result of a great reputation!
I am a Professional Artist (see WWW.DJODESIGNSGALLERY.COM) who has been painting for 15 years. I am also a mother of two. My reputation for being a fantastic face painter was known widely by family and friends from doing my own children's faces for parties. I was also the resident face painter at my daughters kindy. In 2006 the word spread thick and fast and I began getting approached to do face painting at other children's parties. I have also learnt the art of Balloon Sculpture/Twisting and can do this by request. I also offer professional performance make-up for concerts, shows, recitals, ice skating, ballet and drama etc (see WWW.DJODESIGNSMAKEUP.COM)
DJO DESIGNS KIDZ BIZZZ face painting seemed a nice little addition to my DJO DESIGNS GALLERY work (see Links). I really enjoy working with kids, nothing beats seeing their little faces light up with delight at their special character face is a real joy! I have previously held positions at an executive PA level, roles which rely on speed, accuracy, confidence and delivering the highest level of customer service. KIDZ BIZZZ is not just for kids - I have attended Weddings, 21st birthdays, Fancy Dress, Corporate Functions & Events etc in all environments I am relaxed, confident and skilled.
WHAT WE DO.... We arrive at your party or function, dressed in full costume to suit your theme. We attend for the required time (just the first hour or 2 or 3 - depending on numbers in attendance). We work very quickly doing approx 8-15 faces in 60 minutes or so. Fast and efficient, colourful original designs.
We arrive 10 minutes early!Set up and apply professional face make-up to all children (and adults) in attendance who want it, stay on for ballooning, bubbles, glow sticks and or coloured hairspray (if you choose them as extras). We then leave so that you can get along with your party.
NB. I do not provide the cake, party bags, games or entertainment etc. See "Links" for a companies that do this.
My service simply involves the speedy, accurate application of professional quality face paint and EXTRA's as mentioned previously, at additional cost per head per extra.
We are all Blue Card holders and Public Liability Covered.
WHAT DOES IT COST....
NEW RATES effective January 2009....
'Hourly PARTY Rate' is $75 first hour,
then ongoing at $50 per hour each hour thereafter.
No part-hour rates. Function (party of 20+), Corporate, Fete or Festival, Charity, Training, VIP and Full Day rates differ/are available/negotiable.
Travel is charged after the first 20KM of host, at $30 per Hr or Approx $1 per KM, return trip charged. Logan/Daisy Hill approx $65, Gold Coast approx $90, Sunshine Coast approx $80.

PAYMENT TERMS ARE 'CORRECT CASH ON-THE-DAY' (no change carried) or 'Netbank PRIOR to booking date', Cheque accepted on the day for corporate bookings only or 'invoice by COB Friday prior to booking date or by Strict negotiation' only.
EXTRA's
Balloon Twisting, Bubbles, Glow Sticks or Coloured Hairspray by request would be an extra $1 per head.
These costs cover our time, and the application of professional face paint make-up & extras. Creating happy customers! Happy Memories! We are sure you will find our rates very competitive within the industry.
WHAT WE USE..."Paradise AQ". professional face paint - safe, non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, with micro-ban qualities. All are water based, professional stage make-up - washes off with just warm water. Very light on the skin - you can't even feel it on you. Fresh rinsed brushes and sponges for each face. The "Paradise AQ" paint does not crack, peel or itch.. Further details on our code of practice is available with your booking confirmation if required for OH&S. For the Balloon Twisting I only use "Qualatex" bio-degradable professional balloons.
